Terms of Service

By installing or using Herd (the app) via the Shopify App Store, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app.
Herd collects post-purchase feedback from your customers via a checkout thank-you widget and provides you with weekly AI-generated summaries. Features may change as we improve the app.
You must have an active Shopify store to use Herd. You are responsible for keeping your Shopify credentials secure and for the activity on your store. You must comply with Shopify's Terms of Service.
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing API on a recurring monthly basis. You can cancel at any time from your Shopify admin. There are no refunds for partial months. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
You may not: use Herd to collect data you are not legally permitted to collect; use the app to send spam or unsolicited communications; reverse engineer or attempt to breach the app's security; use the app for anything illegal or that infringes on the rights of others.
You own the customer feedback collected through your store. We use it only to generate your weekly digests, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the app.
Herd is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
You can uninstall Herd at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless you request earlier deletion.
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
